Women Prisoners Speak To At-Risk Youth

Today, Eight inmates spoke to a diverse group of at-risk youth at Pathways
Organization. The group is called 2 High 4 The Price. Pathways provided the
women with dinner that consisted of pizza, salad and a desert, which was the
same meal that is served to the youth at the after-school site. The group of
40 or more children ranged from ages 6 to 17, and were mixed gender as well
as diverse in race and background. They gave their undivided attention and the
Mr. E. Rodriguez, the staff director and facilitator of the 2 High 4 The Price
program provided statistics. In the wake of prison reform, some convicts
are excited about giving back to the community.
