Pending Petitioner for President Obama's Clemency 2014 Project

I am currently waiting on a decision for commutation of my sentence from
15 years to 10 years for non-violent, white-collar offenses.  I have served 11 years.
Under CP14, Ms. Cynthia Roseberry requested and received my records from
FBOP on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.  I also filed with OPA.  Ms. Deborah Leff requested
my records from FBOP November 2015.  Will I be chosen?  I do not know.
President Obama created a great initiative!  However, he will not be able to
grant all of the thousands of Petitions pending, that are certainly worthy.
What needs to happen right now is a commitment from both Presidential
Candidates for a CP17, that continues reviewing and granting eligible petitions.
Leaders of this Initiative like Amy Povah, Nikechi Taifa, Professor Mark Osler,
and Marc Mauer of the the Sentencing Project has laid down the foundation.
This is clearly a movement to repair a justice system that is broken.  It is time
to plan for CP17!
